Founded 2014 by Jessam Al-Jawad and Dean Pike (both ex-David Chipperfield Architects, studied at The Bartlett). Combines high-end retail with serious social housing practice. "Strong architectural character through imaginative organisation of inexpensive materials" (RIBAJ) is the signature. Celebrated 10 years of practice September 2025. APL SoHo is the studio's breakthrough US retail commission.
Founded by Jessam Al-Jawad and Dean Pike, both trained at David Chipperfield Architects. The practice runs luxury retail (APL, Penhaligon’s, Aesop, Celine) alongside serious public-housing work (Chowdhury Walk, Neave Brown Award 2024).
